Join Trust for America’s Health (TFAH) for a Congressional Briefing and National Webinar exploring chronic disease prevention and findings from TFAH’s report, State of Obesity 2026: Better Policies for a Healthier America.

This year’s report highlights the importance of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, as well as potential operational and policy challenges of implementing the new 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans across federal nutrition programs. The report also analyzes the latest 2025 data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System and examines how recent policy shifts are impacting nutrition security and public health infrastructure.

Speakers will cover the latest data on obesity and its impacts, highlight promising approaches to ensure healthier communities, and offer policy recommendations that can help all Americans lead healthier lives.
